Ismael Sansao Soares – Sanco Appointed General Manager of Security Operations at Sentinel Group
Sentinel Group (Sentinel) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Sanco to the role of General Manager of Security Operations. Sanco is taking over as GMSecOps as part of the restructure of Sentinel since it was acquired by Paulo Passos in December 2021 becoming 100% Timorese owned . In Sanco’s time at Sentinel, he has overseen significant restructuring of several key areas of the business to reinforce Sentinel’s position as a leader in the provision of security and secure transport services in Timor Leste.
Sanco’s appointment to the role of General Manager SecOps is a natural progression from his previous role at Sentinel as the Security manager where he was an integral part of the core leadership team. The continuity his appointment provides, combined with his focus on the maintenance of existing client relationships and security requirement’s liasion will ensure that the levels of service provision and quality remain high and client expectations are exceeded. Sanco will also be focussed on managing the overall Security operations of the company to further strengthen Sentinel’s position as the security provider of choice for some of the biggest names in Timor Leste.
Sanco is a proven operator and leader who has been with Sentinel since 2018, with over 10 years’ experience as a senior manager specialising in strategic planning, project management, security.
Sentinel currently services 30 clients and over 45 locations and employs over 400 staff members across Timor Leste. Our services include static unarmed guarding, mobile patrols, access and egress management, Rapid Response Teams (RRT), secure transportation services, security technology solutions, corporate advisory services, intelligence reporting and investigations.
